With over 30 years of visionary leadership, Maurice Sehnaoui, is a pioneer in the Lebanese Banking Sector and a major contributor to the Lebanese economy with his commitment to support pillars of socio-economic development such as SMEs, women empowerment and corporate social responsibility.
He was a former Minister of Energy and Water from 2004 to 2005 and is on the Board of a number of companies. He owns a large real estate portfolio including select buildings in Beirut’s City Centre.
Mr. Sehnaoui is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager of BLC Bank since 2008 and his bold and dynamic leadership has led the Bank to quadruple in size in less than 5 years and become a Significant financial institution with over $5 billion in assets.
Born in 1943, he holds a degree in Economics from Saint Joseph University of Beirut. He is a Knight of the French “Legion of Honour” and an Officer of the French “Order of National Merit”.
