How to enable accessibility settings in your Browser.

Google Chrome

1. Open Chrome Settings:

  • Click the three vertical dots (More) icon in the top right corner of the browser window.
  • Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.

2. Navigate to Accessibility:

  • In the left sidebar, click on "Accessibility."
  • Alternatively, you can type "Accessibility" into the search bar at the top of the Settings page.
Mozilla Firefox

1. Open Firefox Settings (Options):

  • Click the three horizontal lines (Open Application Menu) icon in the top right corner.
  • Select "Settings" (or "Options" on some versions) from the menu.

2. Navigate to General or Search for Accessibility:

  • In the left sidebar, click on "General."
  • Scroll down to the "Language and Appearance" section, which contains some accessibility-related options.
  • For more specific accessibility features, use the search bar at the top of the Settings page and type "accessibility."
Microsoft Edge

1. Open Edge Settings:

  • Click the three horizontal dots (Settings and more) icon in the top right corner.
  • Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.

2. Navigate to Accessibility:

  • In the left sidebar, click on "Accessibility."
Safari (macOS)

1. Open Safari Preferences:

  • Click "Safari" in the top menu bar.
  • Select "Settings" (or "Preferences") from the dropdown menu.

2. Check for Basic Accessibility Options within Safari:

  • Websites: You can set page-specific zoom levels here.
  • Advanced: Options like "Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage" are found here.

3. Access System-Wide Accessibility Settings:

  • Click the Apple menu in the top left corner of your screen.
  • Select "System Settings" (or "System Preferences" on older macOS versions).
  • Click on "Accessibility" in the sidebar.
General Tips for all Browsers
Zoom & Font Size Adjustments
  • Use Ctrl + Plus/Minus (or Cmd + on Mac) to zoom in/out.
High Contrast & Dark Mode
  • Enable high contrast themes for better readability.
